Learning the golf etiquette

Although this isn't too much related to golf training, the etiquette is extremely important in this sport. You should always remember that golf is not one of the sports that can be practiced by anybody like football or baseball. It is a bit more aristocratic so it requires a special behavior and a special mentality from the ones that practice it.

First of all, you have to understand that you will probably never be along on a golf course, so respect for the other players is of great importance. And because one of the most important aspects of this sport is concentration, you should not distract the attention of the other players. Therefore, you shouldn't talk loud or make excessive noise while on the court. Also, a golf course can be compared with a shooting range, so you should pay extreme attention whether you want to hit the ball or you just travel from one hole to another. Try not to endanger the safety of the others or even your own. In addition, if other golfers follow after you on the course, you shouldn't spend a lot of time trying to get the right choice. Don't make them wait too long after you. Last but not least we are going to talk about what you should do with golf carts. Try to drive them slowly and carefully. And most importantly, you should obey the rules made by the course administrators and stay on the specially made paths in order to maintain the playing surface in good conditions.

Golf Tips

  1. Learn to make a connection between your body and your mind, so that when you hit the ball you become a whole.
  2. Relax. If your body is to stiff you will never be able to hit the ball in the right way, offer it the needed direction and power.
  3. Concentration is extremely important in golf. If your mind does not stay focused on what you have to do, you will never have good results in this wonderful sport.
  4. When it comes to golf, practice is quite the best thing you can do. The more you practice, the better your game will become and you will see that your shots will be more powerful and more accurate.
